We are thrilled to welcome the FBI’s Executive Assistant Director of the Human Resources Branch, Valerie Parlave ’90, as Albany Law School’s 2015 Alumna in Residence for the spring semester.
In her current role, Ms. Parlave leads the FBI’s human capital needs and oversees the Bureau’s Human Resources, Training, and Security Divisions, as well as its Leadership Development Program. Prior to this assignment, Ms. Parlave was the Assistant Director in Charge of the Washington Field Office, the second largest field office of the FBI. As Assistant Director, Ms. Parlave was responsible for all FBI operations throughout the National Capital Region, including the investigation into the September 16, 2013, Navy Yard shootings in Washington, D.C.
Her lecture will take place from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the DAMC, with a reception to follow in the West Foyer. Parlave will also meet with faculty and students while on campus.

The tournament features a shotgun start and scramble format. Bring your own foursome or allow the Alumni Affairs Office to create one for you. A special thank you to our host, the Honorable Peter Crummey ’81, for his hospitality and assistance in making this event possible.
All inclusive golf package includes: lunch, greens fees, golf cart, contests and beverages on the course. The tournament will conclude with awards, prizes and a one-hour reception with carving station, beer, wine and soda.
